| Etosha
National Park will be one of the highlights of your trip through Namibia.
Being on safari in Etosha is an experience you will never forget!
|
 |

|
Etosha means “the place of dry water” but it is much more than this.
Being one of the best-known game reserves in southern Africa, Etosha
attracts thousands of visitors each year who are fascinated by the
beautiful landscape as well as the unique richness of mammals and
birds waiting to be explored.
 |

|
Observe
the behaviour of Africa's wild animals at one of the 30 waterholes
fringing the edge of the 4590 sqkm saltpan and find out why giraffes
are so nervous while drinking or what do the cute ground squirrels
have their bushy tails for. |
 |
The
three restcamps in Etosha also offer you the opportunity to watch
the wildlife at floodlit waterholes during the night. Expect to see
the various antelopes, an occasional lion or one of the last wild
endangered black rhinoceros` or watch the wading- and other birds
drinking or searching for food in the shallow water.
